Yes! Your information is stored on a secure, dedicated server which is monitored 24/7. Any exchange of information between you and BRECK iD Medical is transmitted using the latest SSL encryption security. However, it is critical that you remember and keep your ID's Serial Number and PIN safe — write them down and keep them in a safe place. Your Serial Number and PIN are engraved on the back of your ID which is needed to view your personal profile. Please keep your ID protected like you would your purse or wallet.
If you lose or misplace your ID, report it lost immediately by logging into your profile and marking it as lost or stolen. Your Serial Number and PIN will be deactivated immediately.
As an added level of security, we will send you an auto-generated email anytime your profile is accessed.
I just got my new BRECK iD Medical ID. Now what?
Follow these steps:
Step 1: Register your account at breckidmedical.com. Step 2: Once registered, log in using the email address and password you created. Step 3: Once logged in, click on "My BRECK iD Cards" in the sidebar and click "Link New ID." Enter your Serial Number and PIN (found on the back of your ID tag) and click Link Product. Step 4: Once your ID is activated, fill in your emergency profile information. Add as much or as little as you like — add the information that will be most helpful in an emergency.
Note: Your BRECK iD Medical account is separate from your BRECK iD shopping account.
Can I have more than one ID linked to my profile?
Yes! Your personal profile can hold up to five (5) IDs. One of the benefits of having multiple IDs is that you can have different products (bracelet, card, shoe tag, etc.) all pointing to the same profile.
If you report one ID as lost, that individual Serial Number and PIN will be deactivated. Any other IDs in your profile that were not reported lost will remain active. This is a good time to remind you to write your Serial Numbers and PINs down and keep them in a safe place.
I lost my ID. What should I do?
Log in to your profile at breckidmedical.com. Click on "My BRECK iD Cards" in the sidebar. Find the ID that is lost and click "Report Lost/Stolen." Select the appropriate status and confirm. Your ID will be deactivated immediately and no one will be able to access your profile using that Serial Number and PIN.
How do I edit my BRECK iD Medical profile?
Go to breckidmedical.com and log in using your email address and password. If you have lost your password, select "Forgot Password" on the login page and follow the instructions to reset it.
Once logged in, use the sidebar on the left to navigate between sections — Personal Information, Address, Emergency Contacts, Medical Conditions, Allergies, Medications, Physicians, Pharmacies, and more. Don't forget to save each section as you go.
Are First Responders able to easily access my Emergency Profile?
Yes. Our system was designed to be quick and easily used by Emergency Personnel or First Responders. They only need access to a cell phone to quickly retrieve your critical emergency information by reading the Serial Number and PIN on the back of your ID tag and entering it at breckidmedical.com.
In a hospital setting, emergency personnel can access your information using a PC to help contact family, review health history, diagnose and treat you.
Will I be notified when my profile is accessed?
Yes. We will send you an auto-generated email anytime your profile is accessed by a first responder. The email will include the date, time, and IP address of the access. You can also view your full access history in your Activity Log after logging in.
